Established in 1973, the Community Design Commission advises on policies that help enhance the aesthetic quality of life in the Village of Oak Park. Its tasks and projects include providing design advice, administering the Cavalcade of Pride awards each year and developing resource material to aid in private property development, in addition to hearing requests for sign regulation variations.
