Public Information Office

The Communications Department is the primary source of all official forms of public information from the municipal government of the Village of Oak Park.

Communications staff create, compile and produce informational literature such as brochures, pamphlets, flyers, newsletters, advertising and news releases, as well as information for electronic dissemination such as via video and the Village website.

The Communications Department also is responsible for generating publicity materials and news coverage of special events sponsored by Village government, and provides promotional counsel to the Village's volunteer boards and commissions.

In addition, the Department manages this website, VOP-TV and the Village's presence on social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
