Landlords and managers of single-family homes or apartment buildings of three or fewer units, and owners who rent their condominium units to tenants, must be licensed, and a copy of the license certificate attached to a copy to the signed lease agreement.
License fees are $10 per unit and must be renewed by December 31 of every year. The residential rental license application is posted online at www.oak-park.us/forms.
