What’s Blooming on Harrison…The Oak Park Arts District has set May 21 for the annual What’s Blooming on Harrison event. The business association is planning to once again offer a family-oriented event with an art fair, children’s carnival, music stage, food, makers booths and more. Thursday Night Out…Downtown Oak Park’s popular dine-around series Thursday Night Out is set to take place from 5 to 9 p.m. every Thursday from June 2 to August 25. The event features restaurants in the downtown business district along Lake and Marion streets offering a variety of drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts on the Thursday Night Out menu, with the option of eating in or carrying out. Tables are also set up along Marion Street for patrons to enjoy dining al fresco. More information is at www.thursdaynightout.com.
