As part of the Village’s commitment to fair housing, grants and rental reimbursements are available to multifamily rental building owners who agree to market their units in ways that encourage diversity.
The Multi-Family Housing Incentives Program offers matching grants of up to $10,000 and rental reimbursement to buildings with a history of marketing difficulties.
The program is designed for buildings with four or more units and requires agreeing to allow the Oak Park Regional Housing Center to market vacant units for one year.
Applications are evaluated by Village staff and citizens volunteers on the Housing Programs Advisory Committee, and approved by the Village Board.
