Oak Park residents looking to achieve a healthy lifestyle are eligible to participate at no cost in comprehensive programs offered by West Cook YMCA that nurture the spirit, mind and body. The community programs include:
- Diabetes Prevention Program: Free, year-long intervention that supports participants in healthier eating and increasing physical activity to reduce health risks through lifestyle changes. Click here for more information and to enroll.

- YMCA Weight Loss Program: Free, three-month lifestyle change program designed to help people seeking a healthier weight achieve their goals by making small, modest changes to their daily behaviors and forming sustainable, healthy habits. Click here for more information and to enroll.
