More than two dozen solution-oriented environmental films will be screened at venues throughout Oak Park and River Forest March 1 – 3 as part of the second annual One Earth Film Festival, organized by Green Community Connections, a grassroots organization devoted to creating a sustainable future in the Oak Park and River Forest area. Each film screening will be followed by an audience discussion intended to foster understanding of climate change, sustainability and the power of human involvement. This year’s event will feature a filmmaking contest for students from upper elementary school through college. Information, including a list of venues, films, dates and times will be posted at greencommunityconnections.org.
